thank god for giving me the strength to keep on blogging. damn! i really dunno what's come over me, but i've never been soooo drained of uhm, intelligent thoughts. argh, maybe i'm finally paying for watching all those cable shows my handy dandy satellite receiver can acquire. guess ya don't have to be a rocket scientist to figure out that remote flipping only requires about 5% brain cell activity. aaahhh!!! television is warping my fragile little mind!!!

wait a minute... i'ma have to take that back. it just came to me that i don't always watch nonsensical tv shows... i mean, just last sunday i was watching the gospel of judas on nat geo. that in itself is a sign that i still have my neurons intact, right? and besides, i think i deserve it. after all, the second semester was full of nosebleed inducing shit, and the least a person can do is unwind and do whatever the hell he wants to do come summertime. give the girl with the passing grades a break. ain't that right?

and yes, i am packing on the pounds! remember the gluttony post i did some time last february? i did some little catching up today and unfortunately, the receiver of that uncontrollable urge is my father's perfectly steamed crabs. and maaaan, i'm telling you, i was in cholesterol heaven. mmm-mmmgood. the crab was exquisite! soft white crab meat and sinfully tasty aligue packs a powerful punch, metaphorically and literally speaking. and of course i didn't forget the calamansi+patis+msg+siling labuyo dipping sauce which makes the whole meal come together. yuuummmm!!! (i'm guessing you're hatin me right now huh?)

all the stuff mentioned above may seem a great deal to me, but i guess that what i am most thankful for is the fact that i passed all my subjects this year. i thank god for having mercy on me and letting me pass college algebra and logic... otherwise i may have blasted myself into oblivion for having disappointed my beloved parents. luckily, that didn't happen so hallelujah!

anyways, i've gotta finish reading mary higgins clark's pretend you don't see her. it's kinda bothering to see a lit major discarding the idea of reading, dabah? summertime pa naman. t'was pretty intriguing actually, nothing less from the queen of suspense. intro pa lang yan ha?

oh. and by the way ches, thanks for the adorable teddy bear you gave me. just so you know, i named him heen. hehe. grazie!
